HMA Retail Bonus Cash

Dealer Choice Cash available on select Hyundai vehicles purchased from the dealer stock. Must be financed through Hyundai Motor Finance (HMF). Tax, title and license extra. Must purchase from dealer stock. See participating dealer for details.

Charge Up New Jersey

The Charge Up incentive provides $2,000 to eligible New Jersey residents for the purchase or lease of a new eligible EV (https://chargeup.njcleanenergy.com/eligible-vehicles).

How to Qualify:
1. Be a resident of the State of New Jersey at the time of vehicle order, purchase or lease, which will be verified by the dealership or showroom via a current New Jersey driver’s license. Only a New Jersey driver’s license is eligible for residency verification. Utility bills, tax documentation, and other items with the applicant’s address will not be accepted.
    - Active-duty military members stationed in New Jersey, with permanent residency in another state, will qualify as satisfying the New Jersey residency requirement. Current military orders will be accepted as proof of residency documentation.
    - The FY25 program is limited to individuals only. Businesses and other commercial entities, governments, and public entities are not eligible for this incentive.

2. Remain a resident of the State of New Jersey for at least two (2) years after the Vehicle Transaction Date for the eligible EV that receives an incentive under the FY25 program. This requirement does not apply to customers with permanent residency in another state who qualified for the incentive because they were active-duty military members stationed in New Jersey at the time they ordered, purchased, or leased their vehicle.

3. Agree that the entirety of the vehicle transaction, including any placing of an order, for an eligible vehicle must occur on or after the official launch of the FY25 program on July 10, 2024, and in the State of New Jersey at a participating dealership or showroom.
   - Vehicles ordered in advance of July 10, 2024, the FY25 program launch, are not eligible for a FY25 program incentive.
    - A vehicle ordered, purchased, or leased, and/or delivered out-of-state, is not eligible for the incentive. This includes vehicles ordered online and delivered outside of the State; any vehicle ordered online must be delivered in New Jersey to qualify for the incentive.
    - New Jersey residents, or active-duty military members stationed in New Jersey, who place an order with a participating New Jersey dealership or showroom to deliver a vehicle in New Jersey will be deemed to have placed that order in New Jersey regardless of whether they were physically in the state at the time.

4. Agree that the Program Administrator will deem a purchase or lease completed when the purchaser or lessee of the vehicle has executed and signed a purchase contract, lease, or security agreement.

5. Commit to not modifying the vehicle’s emissions control systems, hardware, software calibrations, or hybrid system.

6. Retain ownership, or an active lease agreement, and registration of the vehicle with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission for a minimum of 36 consecutive months immediately after the vehicle purchase or lease date. Customers who lease their vehicle must ensure that their original lease agreement explicitly lists a term of 36 months or longer.

7. Acknowledge that they may receive only up to three (3) electric vehicle incentives from the Program throughout the 10-year period that the Program is active. By signing the agreement below, the applicant certifies they are eligible for this incentive and have not previously received more than two (2) during the program period.

Customers do not need to submit an application to receive the $2,000 Charge Up incentive. Simply visit a participating dealership and the incentive will be applied at the point-of-sale.

HMA Competitive Owner Coupon

Current HMF customers approaching lease or retail loan maturity. These customers were selected based on the industry average return to market timing for retail loans and lease maturity dates with HMF. All customers may be eligible for loyalty benefits such as two-tier bump on their new contract. HMF customers with Lease maturities between November 2024 - February 2025, Retail loans with 39+ months on book, New lease/loan must be with HMF. Eligible customer sales will be tracked by HCA during the program period and funds will be VIN credited to your Dealer Reserve Statement. Contract and documentation must be submitted to Hyundai Motor Finance by November 30, 2024 and funded by December 13, 2024.

HMF Year-End Upgrade


Proof of eligibility is simple. Just visit your local Hyundai dealer with the following two things: 

*  A copy of your diploma or a letter from the registrar’s office stating that you graduated or will graduate
*  Proof of employment, such as a pay stub, or an offer letter from a prospective employer. Hyundai Motor Finance (HMF) must deem your salary sufficient to cover living expenses and vehicle payments.

You must be a graduate of a four-year university, accredited two-year college, or a nursing school. You must have graduated from a U.S. university within the past two years or be on track to graduate within the next six months. The offer includes graduates and graduate candidates attending accredited masters or doctorate programs.

First Responders Program

Customers must be active First Responders at the commencement of the program period.

First Responders are defined as customers active as Police Officers, Sheriffs/Sheriff Deputies, Correctional Officers, State Troopers and Federal Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters (paid or volunteer), EMT/Paramedics and 911 Dispatchers and their spouses.
 
Customers must purchase an eligible new or unused Hyundai vehicle from a participating Hyundai dealership.

First Responders Program Bonus offered by Hyundai Motor America towards the purchase or lease of a new or unused Hyundai vehicle through participating Hyundai dealers from January 3, 2024 – December 31, 2024.To qualify for the bonus, at the time of purchase or lease, you must (1) be active as a Police Officer, Sheriff/Sheriff Deputy, Correctional Officer, State Trooper and Federal Law Enforcement Officer, Firefighter (paid or volunteer), EMT/Paramedic and/or 911 Dispatcher or a spouse of a First Responder AND (2) provide verifiable proof of active service and/or employment as a First Responder; (3) receive a salary sufficient to cover ordinary living expenses and payment for your new vehicle; and (4) receive credit approval from and execute a finance or lease contract through a participating Hyundai dealer. Customers must purchase an eligible new Hyundai vehicle from a participating Hyundai dealership. Refer to “Participating Dealerships” and “Eligible Vehicles” above.

Ineligible Customers:
Customers who purchase a vehicle that is not listed under “Eligible Vehicles”.
Customers who purchase a vehicle from a non-participating dealership.
Customers who are not eligible branches for U.S. Military, for example, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), ROTC, and U.S. Public Health Services branches.
Customers who are serving in other branches not defined under “Eligible Customers”. Only United States Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Reserves and National Guards are qualified branches.

Claim Process:
• Eligible vehicles must be delivered and reported via the Vehicle Retail Delivery Reporting
(RDR) system.
• Submit claim through Hyundai Claim Center within VINS.
• The following documentation must be submitted:
1. Claim Center Coupon Form OR Incentive Worksheet
? Worksheet, purchase agreement or contract must indicate the rebate was given to the customer.
2. Copy of check issued to customer in the amount of the incentive if customer elects to have the incentive paid directly to them and not applied to the purchase price of their vehicle.
3. For step-by-step instructions on how to submit your claim in the website, refer to the User Guide available on the website.
All claims must be submitted online for payment by the claim submission deadline.
Payment Process:
• Hyundai Motor America (HMA) will not pay valued owner incentive directly to the customer. If the customer elects to have the valued owner incentive deducted from the purchase price, it is the
dealership’s responsibility to apply the correct valued owner incentive amount from the purchase price of the vehicle. If the customer elects to have the valued owner incentive paid directly to
them, it is the dealership’s responsibility to pay the customer.
• It is the dealership’s responsibility to verify the customer’s eligibility for valued owner incentive as well as the valued owner incentive amount offered during the time of sale. HMA will not be responsible for any incorrect valued owner incentive amount issued by the dealer.
• Allow 2 weeks for review and processing of claims. Payments are paid to dealers via electronic wire transfer. To check the status of your claim you can log into www.hyundaiclaimcenter.com. Complete payment history (per program number) can be found on the Dealer Incentive Statement (DCS report HMA-0160). The Dealer Incentive Statement is available to dealers via Web DCS following the incentive statement run. Please refer to your Incentives calendar for payment schedules.
Vehicle RDR Cancellations:
RDR cancellations will automatically trigger chargebacks on all incentives earned on the cancelled unit.
IMPORTANT: Valued owner incentive amounts are subject to change without notice. HMA reserves the sole right to cancel, amend or revoke any incentive program in full or in part for any reason at any time without incurring liability. HMA reserves the sole right to interpret these rules and shall not be bound by any previous interpretations made by HMA before or during the program.
