Proof of eligibility is simple. Just visit your local Hyundai dealer with the following two things: 

*  A copy of your diploma or a letter from the registrar’s office stating that you graduated or will graduate
*  Proof of employment, such as a pay stub, or an offer letter from a prospective employer. Hyundai Motor Finance (HMF) must deem your salary sufficient to cover living expenses and vehicle payments.

You must be a graduate of a four-year university, accredited two-year college, or a nursing school. You must have graduated from a U.S. university within the past two years or be on track to graduate within the next six months. The offer includes graduates and graduate candidates attending accredited masters or doctorate programs.

First Responders Program

Customers must be active First Responders at the commencement of the program period.

First Responders are defined as customers active as Police Officers, Sheriffs/Sheriff Deputies, Correctional Officers, State Troopers and Federal Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters (paid or volunteer), EMT/Paramedics and 911 Dispatchers and their spouses.
 
Customers must purchase an eligible new or unused Hyundai vehicle from a participating Hyundai dealership.

First Responders Program Bonus offered by Hyundai Motor America towards the purchase or lease of a new or unused Hyundai vehicle through participating Hyundai dealers from January 3, 2024 – December 31, 2024.To qualify for the bonus, at the time of purchase or lease, you must (1) be active as a Police Officer, Sheriff/Sheriff Deputy, Correctional Officer, State Trooper and Federal Law Enforcement Officer, Firefighter (paid or volunteer), EMT/Paramedic and/or 911 Dispatcher or a spouse of a First Responder AND (2) provide verifiable proof of active service and/or employment as a First Responder; (3) receive a salary sufficient to cover ordinary living expenses and payment for your new vehicle; and (4) receive credit approval from and execute a finance or lease contract through a participating Hyundai dealer. Not all applicants will qualify. On lease contracts, rebate must be applied toward the Amount Due at Lease Signing or toward the Capitalized Cost Reduction. On finance contracts, rebate must be applied toward the Down Payment. Offer limited to First Responders and Offer not available on fleet vehicles and not combinable with Hyundai Circle plan sales. Service car rental and demo vehicles are ineligible for this promotion. Vehicle must be taken out of dealer stock. Terms, conditions and restrictions apply. Must pay sales tax. Eligible Customers:
Customers (or spouse) must be Active Duty, Reservist/National Guard, Retired, or a Veteran from the U.S. Military at the commencement of the program period.
Personnel from the U.S. Military eligible for this program are defined as customers serving or having served in the United States Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Reserves, or National Guard.
Customers must purchase an eligible new Hyundai vehicle from a participating Hyundai dealership. Refer to “Participating Dealerships” and “Eligible Vehicles” above.

Ineligible Customers:
Customers who purchase a vehicle that is not listed under “Eligible Vehicles”.
Customers who purchase a vehicle from a non-participating dealership.
Customers who are not eligible branches for U.S. Military, for example, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), ROTC, and U.S. Public Health Services branches.
Customers who are serving in other branches not defined under “Eligible Customers”. Only United States Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Reserves and National Guards are qualified branches.

Claim Process:
• Eligible vehicles must be delivered and reported via the Vehicle Retail Delivery Reporting
(RDR) system.
• Submit claim through Hyundai Claim Center within VINS.
• The following documentation must be submitted:
1. Claim Center Coupon Form OR Incentive Worksheet
? Worksheet, purchase agreement or contract must indicate the rebate was given to the customer.
2. Copy of check issued to customer in the amount of the incentive if customer elects to have the incentive paid directly to them and not applied to the purchase price of their vehicle.
3. For step-by-step instructions on how to submit your claim in the website, refer to the User Guide available on the website.
All claims must be submitted online for payment by the claim submission deadline.
Payment Process:
• Hyundai Motor America (HMA) will not pay valued owner incentive directly to the customer. If the customer elects to have the valued owner incentive deducted from the purchase price, it is the
dealership’s responsibility to apply the correct valued owner incentive amount from the purchase price of the vehicle. If the customer elects to have the valued owner incentive paid directly to
them, it is the dealership’s responsibility to pay the customer.
• It is the dealership’s responsibility to verify the customer’s eligibility for valued owner incentive as well as the valued owner incentive amount offered during the time of sale. HMA will not be responsible for any incorrect valued owner incentive amount issued by the dealer.
• Allow 2 weeks for review and processing of claims. Payments are paid to dealers via electronic wire transfer. To check the status of your claim you can log into www.hyundaiclaimcenter.com. Complete payment history (per program number) can be found on the Dealer Incentive Statement (DCS report HMA-0160). The Dealer Incentive Statement is available to dealers via Web DCS following the incentive statement run. Please refer to your Incentives calendar for payment schedules.
Vehicle RDR Cancellations:
RDR cancellations will automatically trigger chargebacks on all incentives earned on the cancelled unit.
IMPORTANT: Valued owner incentive amounts are subject to change without notice. HMA reserves the sole right to cancel, amend or revoke any incentive program in full or in part for any reason at any time without incurring liability. HMA reserves the sole right to interpret these rules and shall not be bound by any previous interpretations made by HMA before or during the program.
