Rebate benefit The Loyalty Bonus is a customer rebate and retailers are required to display the bonus as a benefit to the customer on the separate rebate line on the sales or lease agreement. If a retailer is using a contract that does not have a separate rebate line the retailer has the option to subtract the rebate from the selling price of the vehicle and instead have the customer sign the customer benefit claim form (page 3). This form must be maintained in the deal jacket for a minimum of 2 years subject to a sales audit.
