Military Discount Program

Eligible Participants: Active duty and reserve members of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force, Coast 
Guard and National Guard, as well as Veterans and Retirees within twenty-four (24) months of the 
date of separation. This program only extends to a spouse or domestic partner residing in the same 
household. (address verification required)

Eligibility Documentation: Retailer is responsible for verification of eligibility and must upload supporting documents to the 
SOA Coupon Redemption System at the time of coupon redemption.
?  Active Duty (remit one of the following)
1. Current Military Leave and Earnings Statement (LES)
2. Department of Defense correspondence attesting to Duty Status
3. SOA Military Eligibility Certificate, must be completed and signed by the eligible member and an 
authorized retailer representative.
?  Retiree must be within twenty-four (24) months of the date of discharge. (remit the following): 
Form DD 214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty)
?  Veteran must be within twenty-four (24) months of the date of discharge. (remit the following) 
Form DD 214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge From Active Duty)
?  A photocopy of a Military ID is not an acceptable form of verification for this 
program.

Eligible Vehicles: New Subaru vehicles – not previously reported sold. Sale Types A, C, L only. Exclusions: None

Vehicle Maximum: Maximum of two (2) vehicles per calendar year (includes all vehicles purchased using VIP programs).

Ownership Requirement; Vehicle must be registered, titled and insured in the name of the eligible participant or their 
spouse or domestic partner, residing in the same household. Address verification is required.
Vehicles registered for commercial use are not eligible for this program. Authorization is not 
transferable.

Pricing/Incentives: Participant negotiates their best price directly with the retailer and retailer must clearly 
disclose an additional discount on the Bill of Sale or Lease Agreement.
In addition, customer must receive the benefit of any applicable zone, regional, customer or 
retailer incentives or rebates, including customer or retailer finance or lease cash in effect at 
the time of purchase.
Offer may not be combined with other SOA coupons or offers, unless specifically stated.

Payment to Retailer: Retailer redeems coupon via SOA Coupon Redemption System for reimbursement of the additional 
discount, in lieu of a VIP Handling Fee.
